About Me

About Me – I have been a Registered Dietitian for over 25 years and received my undergraduate in nutrition from Florida State University and obtained my Master’s Degree in Nutrition as well as a Registered Dietitian Certification from Indiana University.

I am also certified in Adult Weight Management and a member of the Academy of Nutrition & Dietetics as well as American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery.

I have had a private practice in South Florida for 20 years with my primary office in Boynton Beach, where I see patients in their home as well as Video Conferencing all over the world!  I specialize in Bariatric Weight Loss Consulting for patients who need guidance on how to succeed with their Bariatric Weight Loss and lifestyle changes that provide life long weight loss success.  I also work a lot with patients concerning preventive health, which includes weight loss, diabetes education as well as renal, and GI issues.

I am licensed to perform patient consults required for insurance approvals.

I know the importance of Bariatric Support Groups pre and post surgery to assure that patients are successful with their weight loss.  I offer Bariatric support groups through my website as well as for surgeons all over the country via Video Conferencing.

One thing about me is I practice what I preach. “My motto is to die young, as late as possible!”  When I am not working with patients, you can find me on the golf course or in the gym if I am not on my rollerblades.  I want to give my body the best care I can so I get the most out of it for as long as possible, and I impart that passion for living to my patients for successful weight loss.  I genuinely believe preventing health issues is so much more fun than being sick.  I would rather spend my money on things that bring a smile to my face than co-pays, doctor bills, and prescriptions.

I work hard on guiding my patients with their nutrition needs and help them adopt the preventive health approach through food, exercise, reducing stress, and bringing joy to their lives.
